Celebrating 10 Years of Hope!

September 19th, 2024  | News

Today, September 19, 2024 marks the 10 year anniversary of Hope for HIE as a confirmed charitable nonprofit organization!

We are excited to kick off a year long celebration reflecting on the many hands and hearts that have contributed to the continued success of the first global HIE advocacy and support organization that is trailblazing in awareness, advocacy, education, research and support for neonatal and pediatric-acquired Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy.

No matter where you live, or what outcome a child has, Hope for HIE has grown from a modest social media group to connecting and supporting over 10,000 families globally, advancing research, and improving the quality of life for children and families impacted.

We will be sharing the many stories that encompass our community and the key moments of impact that have made steady and meaningful change as we have soared to new heights. We also created a special graphic to commemorate 10 years, using the many HIE Awareness Month graphics that have been created!

We cannot do this work without the generous support of our community — and we hope you’ll join us in today’s ask to kickstart the next 10 years of success to decrease the incidence and impact of HIE by committing a denomination of 10 that you feel personally comfortable with — whether that’s $10, $100 or even $1,000.

We’ve made it easier than ever to support our organization whether that is through Venmo, Text-to-Give, Donor Advised Funds (DAF), or simply on our website where you can give in honor or memory of someone and let them know of your gift.

If you cannot contribute monitarily, please commit to sharing about Hope for HIE with 10 people in your community! We hope you’ll join in, sharing the impact you’ve seen firsthand as a family member, a physician, researcher, or supporter and spread the word so no family faces HIE alone.
