Video Support Group: Feeding Tubes & HIE

October 13 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Join us on Friday, October 13, for Hope for HIE’s video support group session to discuss feeding tubes and HIE. This is designed for parents and legal guardians who would like more information on navigating a feeding tube and HIE.

➡️ Led by Hope for HIE’s licensed social worker, Haley, families will be engaged in a space of healing and hope, no matter where their journey may take them, talking with others to build connections and support.

This event is co-hosted with three peer mentors from our HIE parent community:

  • Hope Riley is a single mom to 3 year old Logan with severe HIE. She loves being an advocate for and helping others. She also loves traveling and going to the beach for fun.
  • Allison Moise is mom to Rob who’s 6 years old. She has a passion for connecting with people and providing assistance along the way.
  • Kat Schaufele: “I was so worried about a second hypoxic event. With help from the pregnancy after HIE group and family I found comfort. Advocating for myself, my unborn child, and my son all at the same time.”

➡️ This event will be hosted on a closed Zoom meeting experience and is scheduled for 10 a.m. EST.
