Hope for HIE Announces Partner in Hope – Medtronic

December 1st, 2020  |  By HOPE FOR HIE FOUNDATION

Hope for HIE is excited to announce the largest grant in foundation history with Medtronic plc’s involvement as a platinum Partner in Hope.

“This is a historic day for Hope for HIE, to have the partnership from Medtronic allowing us to have the time and resources to move forward our mission to improve the quality of life for children and families affected by  HIE – Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy,” stated David Ford, President, Hope for HIE.

The Partner in Hope program is a way for corporate philanthropy and sponsorships to make meaningful contributions to moving forward areas of programming in Hope for HIE. For this partnership, Medtronic is sponsoring the educational series that Hope for HIE launched this year, with subject matter experts from the Medical Advisory Board, families, and the broader community, on topics that directly impact the quality of life for HIE families.

“As part of Medtronic’s Patient Monitoring business, we are proud to partner with Hope for HIE as it allows us to support our Mission and our strategy focused on solving clinically meaningful problems. Our products touch your children’s lives starting in the NICU with Nellcor™ pulse oximetry, and INVOS™ cerebral oximetry, but it continues as you save those sensors to reflect on your journey as a family. By supporting the Hope for HIE webinar series, we hope to empower you with up-to-date information so you can stay connected to the needs of your children, just like we did in the NICU.”  – Frank Chan, President, Patient Monitoring, Medtronic.
