Parental Feedback for Neonatal Resuscitation (SURV1VE trial):

A new protocol for neonatal CPR shows promise to improve outcomes and the study team is looking for parents perspectives on communication, enrollment and consent procedures, as the timing and identification of a cohort in an emergency clinical trial can be difficult to identify prior to needing the intervention

Long COVID & Children with Disabilities:

Researchers are trying to understand the impacts of long COVID on children with disabilities, including our HIE children. If your child has been diagnosed with COVID, check to see if you are eligible. This study was driven by input and questions from our HIE community with researchers at Johns Hopkins.

SPRINT Study for Long Term Cognitive Outcomes from HIE:

Dr. Melisa Carrasco McCaul in the University of Wisconsin-Madison TREES lab is launching research focused on the long-term cognitive development of children, including healthy infants and those who had a perinatal brain injury such as HIE. Children 0-36 months diagnosed with HIE are eligible, and the study is done via telehealth.
