Join Hope for HIE on Monday, April 29, at 2 p.m. EST as Dr. Kenji Cunnion, Dr. Nikki Robertson, Dr. Lina Chalak, and Dr. Brian Kalish discuss the importance of fostering a community culture of research and provide research developments and updates in their respective fields:

📌 Dr. Kenji Cunnion serves as the Chief Medical Officer at ReAlta Life Sciences, one of the co-discovering physician-scientists of RLS-0071 currently involved in enrolling babies in the STAR study.

📌 Dr. Lina Chalak, affiliated with UT Southwestern in Texas, is the Principal Investigator for the COOL PRIME Mild HIE & Cooling study, which is currently enrolling babies.

📌 Dr. Brian Kalish is currently affiliated with SickKids in Toronto, Canada, and conducts research on the efficacy of metformin and remote ischemic conditioning in neonates with HIE.

📌 Dr. Nikki Robertson, who holds positions at UCL and the University of Edinburgh in the UK, specializes in preclinical pig models and is readying the upcoming ACUMEN study in HIE testing melatonin in babies with HIE.
