Grandparents and extended family are incredibly important to our HIE children. Often, they step into critical caregiver roles, and love on our children like no other. They also have to process grief and trauma that comes along with their experience, so today we want to highlight their involvement, their experiences, and their stories.
Hope for HIE will be meeting and networking with the neonatology community at the Pediatric Academic Societies meeting, one of the largest academic conferences, engaged with researchers and clinicians, bringing the unmet needs of the HIE community forward.
