REGISTERING FOR THE 5K
Step 1: Starting February 15th, visit Tinyurl.com/HustleforHope

Step 2: Select the signup tab at the top of the page and follow the prompts to register yourself, family members, or friends!

Step 3: Maximize your support by grabbing a Hustle for Hope limited edition t-shirt!

BENEFITS OF EARLY REGISTRATION

Registering for a 5K event, whether it’s virtual or a local event held by a Hustle Host, between 2/15 and 3/15 gives you some perks:

• A discounted registration fee of $25
• Guaranteed delivery of your race packet — bib, medal, sweatband, wristband, and optional t-shirt — by 4/1.

REGULAR REGISTRATION TIMELINE

• Registration for our virtual race takes place between 3/16 and closes at midnight on 4/15 and costs $30 per person.
• Registration for any local 5K events will close between 5 and 7 days before its event date.
• Race packets –bib, medal, sweatband, wristband, and optional t-shirt — will be shipped out as quickly as possible.

WHEN TO COMPLETE THE 5K

• If you are walking, running, or rolling virtually, then you can complete the 5K anytime between 4/1 and 5/31!
• If you plan to sign up for a local event, you can see the race details on that event’s specific registration page.
• If you find you have already registered for the virtual race but want to attend a local event, email Deanna@HopeforHIE.org to request she switch your registration location for you.

FINDING A HUSTLE FOR HOPE 5K NEAR YOU

• So far, we have 15 official Hustle Hosts (and counting!), and we are just waiting for their venue location, date, and time to be confirmed!
• Once confirmed, we will upload their specific local event on the homepage of our RunSignUp registration.
• Note that registration for in-person events will close 5-7 days in advance to allow room for fulfillment and planning.

RACE PACKET DETAILS

• A race packet contains a bib, medal, wristband, sweatband, and HIE informational flyer. It will also contain a limited edition 2024 Hustle for Hope t-shirt if you paid for one at registration.
• If you register between 2/15 and 3/15, your race packet has a guaranteed delivery of 4/1.
• If you register after 3/16, we will mail you your race packet as quickly as possible.

CREATING OR JOINING A FUNDRAISING TEAM

Upon registering for the race, you’ll automatically be directed to a page that asks if you’d like to create your own fundraising team.

Step 1: Select Become a Fundraiser
Step 2: Fill out the Individual Fundraiser section
Step 3: Make it your own by setting a goal, creating a dedicated URL, or adding a photo or personal story.

You’ll see an area with preexisting fundraisers for you to join, as well!

HOW TO BECOME A HUSTLE FOR HOPE SPONSOR

There are seven levels of involvement to help you show your support.

Step 1: Head to Tinyurl.com/HustleSponsor
Step 2: Login or create a RunSignUp account
Step 3: Select the sponsorship level. Hope for HIE will create an invoice to confirm sponsorship.
