Hope for HIE welcomes Deanna Bryan

October 3rd, 2022  | News

Hope for HIE is excited to announce the addition of Deanna Bryan to the organization as Program Manager. Deanna brings an extensive background in education, consulting and training to the role. In her role, she is responsible for managing many of Hope for HIE’s outreach programs, events and educational content. She will also be helping the organization move forward its advocacy efforts to bridge medical and educational gap areas, build health information literacy for the greater HIE community, and engage with volunteers and other key stakeholders.

“Hope for HIE’s growth has been accelerating significantly over the last two years. We are grateful to have the resources to bring on Deanna to meet this demand, as we continue forward in our mission to improve the quality of life for children and families impacted by HIE. Building consistency is at the bedrock of our next growth phase, and having a team member with her extensive experience in education will enhance the quality of the programming we provide,” stated Betsy Pilon, Executive Director.

Bryan previously served as an English teacher, instructional coach, has worked extensively with students with learning disabilities, and has her own consulting firm.
